This year's fair may look a little different. In an effort to encourage our underclass students to explore careers without barriers, students will be encouraged to dress in casual attire, such as jeans and a dress shirt.

We hope these changes will encourage more students to join the fair and build your candidate pipeline for the future!

2027 Fair Information

Friday, February 26, 2027 | 10:00 - 3:00 p.m. CST
Hosted in Huntington Bank Stadium

Join us at the University of Minnesota Job & Internship Fair, attended by more than 1,000 qualified candidates from the University of Minnesota Crookston, Duluth, Morris, Rochester, and Twin Cities campuses.

Our candidates represent a wide variety of academic majors, degree levels and experiences, and are looking for full-time employment, internships, and general career information and networking.

Registration on Handshake in September 2026

Career Fair Fees

$750: For-Profit Organizations ($950 after January 22)
$750: Large* Nonprofit/Government ($950 after January 22)
$350: Small** Nonprofit/Government ($500 after January 22)

*Large Nonprofit/Government: $100 million in revenue or more

**University of Minnesota Departments hiring full-time staff and interns can register at the small nonprofit rate

UMN Job & Internship Fair Sponsorship: $2500 | Includes:

Registration fee
Company logo on printed student handout, handshake registration page, job fair website, and printed promotional items
Free parking for 2 vehicles
Two (2) additional representatives with lunch tickets, for a total of four (4) representatives
Table with access to electricity, if requested, at no additional cost
Front row table location Huntington Bank Stadium
Added to the "UMN Job & Internship Sponsors" collection in Handshake
- When compared to jobs posted by employers that have not been added to a collection, curated employer’s jobs receive: 7x Job views, 8x Job saves, 7x Apply clicks, and 7x Submitted applications

2027 Fair Deadlines

Sponsorship Registration: Thursday, December 31, 2026 (to be included in all promotional materials). Limited number of spots available, first come, first served basis.
Registration Deadline: Sunday, February 14, 2027
Payment Deadline: Sunday, February 14, 2027
Cancellation deadline: Sunday, February 14, 2027. Written refund requests must be submitted by February 14. There will be no refunds after this date.

After your registration is approved, you will receive an invoice which will direct you to log into Handshake to pay your fee. At that time you will be able to pay via credit card.

Posting Your Jobs

We strongly encourage you to post your jobs to Handshake to ensure they are visible to candidates in advance of the Career Fair. Postings are active for 30 days.

IMPORTANT note about majors: Include all majors you are willing to hire. Students have been known to look for companies based on major searches. It's important to think of all possible majors that may be a fit. This will broaden the talent pool with qualified candidates.
